Taking care of your Semi-permanent Tattoo

When you come by the studio to get some work done, some of our procedures are essentially a form of tattooing. If you’re getting your eye brows done, semi-permanent eye liner, some lip treatments…all of them are essentially a form of semi-permanent tattoo.

With any kind of tattoo treatment, there are some steps to take to care for it to minimize any kind of damage or infection. Here are some tips!

1) Avoid the sun. When you get your brows or eyeliner done, take cover with hats or avoid the sun all together for a few days.

2) It’s harder on the eyelashes, but keep your skin moisturized. This will assist with healing and as the days go on, you will start to scab. Moisturizing helps, heaps!

3) Don’t scratch! For the love of perfect eyebrows, do not scratch them as you heal. It will be tempting, but don’t do it. Trust me! Not only do you risk infection, you delay the healing and damage to the cosmetic side of work if you open a scab and cause damage.

4) Keep the area dry and clean. Pretty simple, but pretty important!

5) When washing your face, wash gently and with a gentle soap.

6) Lastly, when in doubt or if something goes on you’re not sure about, please feel free to reach out.

I am so motivated to boost your confidence and make you feel the best You! Feel free to ask any questions you may have, or come back into the studio if you would like me to take a look at things!

Your Confidence is my Business,

Shannon
