There are so many different procedures you can decide to undertake with us. Another one we offer is semi-permanent eyeliner.
Semi permanent eyeliner is essentially the process of undertaking a semi-permanent tattoo on one’s eyes. When you come in for this service, we will take some time to analyze your eyes both before anything is applied, and after some gel eyeliner is used to draw what it would look like. Once we have you satisfied, we begin the process!
Semi-permanent eyeliner results in a sharply defined look, so the key is to determine the thickness of liner that you’re comfortable with. You can apply the ink via a cosmetic pen which is slower to do, or with a tattoo gun which is much faster.
A numbing cream is applied to your eyes, we wait a little bit to ensure it absorbs in, and then we begin. I will apply a small amount of pressure on your lids to compensate for natural twitching and scrunching that you will do. A quick procedure to essentially undergo, I will apply and cover my tracks a couple of times to ensure my lines are not broken.
There is mild pain associated with semi-permanent eyeliner, but again, this also depends on your threshold of pain. Because your eyes are sensitive, they will feel a little raw afterwards, but this feeling won’t last long. Drops will be applied to your eyes to flush out any bits of product that may have gotten in there, we will take some photos for your comparison purposes, and then you are done!
As with any semi-permanent tattoo procedure, there will be mild swelling afterwards-it will start off small after several hours and be at its most the next day after your procedure, but then it will quickly go down again. You will experience a tight feeling on your lids as the tattoo scabs start to form, but that’s basically it. We’ll go over some aftercare do’s and don’ts, and you’ll be on your way within 20-30 minutes of your arrival! The final look won’t be ready for about a month after you have this done, feel free to come by for a touch up if needed!
