It’s been all the rage for the last little while and it is a procedure we do so often for so many clients, we thought we’d share some information on what exactly Microblading is to educate those women and men (yes, men get this done too!), on what this is.
Brows are such a prominent feature on our faces, they sculpt and design what we look like. When they’re not full or shaped, it can affect how we feel in terms of our confidence. Some people tweeze, some wax or thread. Tweezing, when left to our own devices, can lead to over-plucking and asymmetrical brows. Though waxing and threading can give shapely eyebrows, they don’t do anything to fill in the shape should hair be sparse.
That’s where microblading comes in. It is a form of cosmetic tattooing which mimics real hair in the skin. Microblading uses several extremely sharp and flexible needles that are compacted together to form one blade. It results in a more natural-looking brow shape and texture, because the result of the pigmentation has the same radius, implied texture and and look of real hair.
Before any tattooing is done, the shape and color of your brows is discussed at your consultation appointment with me. I will draw and edit your chosen shape on you until you confirm your approval, and then we begin! A numbing cream can be applied if you prefer to minimize discomfort because there is some level of pain associated with the procedure, but after seeing countless clients, I have seen a variety of comfort levels.
Upon completion which taken on average between 1 hour and a half and 2 hours, you will leave feeling already more confident. There will be some redness, some flakiness and swelling. This is normal. After your follow-up consultation a couple of weeks later, I assure you, you will be feeling more confident about You. And that is all we are striving to deliver to you: your deserved confidence.
